—— Introduce yourself to the Zuitt Community.

Hello guys! I’m Jay, a former Zuitt student from Batch 303. I’m a recent Computer Engineering graduate and currently a Junior R&D Engineer at AWS.

I decided to study web development because of its high demand and competitive salary. At first, I had doubts—I thought enrolling in a program might be a waste of time. As a fresh graduate, I figured I should already be job hunting, since it gets harder to find work the longer you’re unemployed after graduation.

When I saw that Zuitt offered a program where employers sponsor your tuition, I inquired immediately. The slots filled up fast, and unfortunately, I wasn’t selected at first.

At that time, I didn’t have enough funds to pay for the regular program, so I patiently waited for the next opportunity—which came from AWS. I applied again, went through multiple interviews with Zuitt and AWS, and was fortunate enough to be accepted. I consider myself blessed to have landed my current job because of Zuitt.

—— Why did you choose Zuitt?

When I wanted to learn coding, I explored many bootcamp programs. I chose Zuitt because of the positive feedback I saw online. Initially, I couldn’t afford their paid program because I was a working student. That’s why I waited patiently for their Financial Aid by Employers (FAE) program, where employers sponsor your tuition.

What stood out to me during the program was how supportive the instructors were. Whenever someone in class was confused, they would repeat their instructions and explain the concept thoroughly. Sometimes, they even offered one-on-one guidance—asking students to share their screens and assisting them until they achieved the correct output.

The environment was also excellent. It was interactive, and I had kind classmates from different fields and various parts of the Philippines.

—— Did joining Zuitt Tech Career Program after college help you start your career in Tech?

Yes, it helped me a lot. It gave me a strong foundation in web development. The instructors were incredibly helpful throughout my learning journey. They made complex concepts easier to understand. Even during the evenings, I could message them and they would reply whenever they were available.

For me, one of the best things about the Zuitt Tech Career Program is how interactive their instructors are. The projects they assign us to work on are great for portfolios and resumes. The skills that we learn are skills that we need for our careers and skills that we can eventually show to our future employers. If you’re looking for a coding program, Zuitt is the one you should go for. It’s great! You can join even if you don’t have any background when it comes to web development. The class pacing is good and the instructors are all kind and knowledgeable. The lessons that you will learn here are great for your career, and a great addition to your skill set.

—— What is your message to Zuitt’s future students?

as well—you won’t know unless you try. This program can be a huge stepping stone into the IT industry by significantly boosting your skill set.

Zuitt also offers additional training options beyond the main course. They have short courses you can take to upskill and enhance your resume.

I had doubts before joining. I feared it would be a waste of time—but I was proven wrong. It turned out to be a valuable investment in my future. Their enrollment options, like Financial Aid by Employers and Study Now, Pay Later, make learning coding accessible even if you’re on a tight budget.

If you’re considering a coding program, go for it. Zuitt offers a fast-track way to acquire practical coding skills and launch your tech career.
